Ivan Bortnik visited the facilities of the innovative infrastructure of the Republic of Tatarstan

Today, Deputy Minister of the Economy, Bulat Khaziakhmetov, and the Adviser to the Director-General of the Fund for the promotion of small forms of enterprises in science and technology, Ivan Bortnik, who is visiting Kazan, visited a number of innovative infrastructure facilities, designed to develop child and youth innovation activities.

The Centre of Youth Innovation Creativity "Hakspace", located on the basis of a boarding school No.2 in the Moscow District of Kazan is among them. The centre is equipped with modern high-tech equipment, where children can obtain research skills and realize their first innovative ideas.

The delegation also visited and studied the activities of the Lycée No. 35 of the Volga District of Kazan, where the Aerospace Education Centre is operating. The main directions of activity of the Centre are: scientific-research and engineering-technology activities, aviation and space technology management, personal and physical education of children. The centre is the base site for implementation of the project "Country of Aviation", which consolidated Children's organizations in nine settlements of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In addition, a meeting was held with schoolchildren and students, participants and winners of the "Sirius" project at the "Idea" site of the innovation and production technology park. Ivan Bortnik told to the audience about the contest "UMNIK-Sirius", which iss being implemented in the scope of the program of The Fund for Innovations' Promotion "Participant of youth scientific innovative contest" ('UMNIK"). The purpose of the competition is to promotion and implementation of innovative projects, sponsored by the recipients of grants from the President of the Russian Federation. Ivan Bortnik called on the younger generation to participate more actively in this and other competitions under The Fund for Innovations' Promotion, enabling to translate into reality their bold innovative ideas.
