Rustam Minnikhanov meets Emir of Ras Al Khaimah Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi during his working visit to the UAE

On October 30, during his working visit to the United Arab Emirates, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Emir of Ras Al Khaimah Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi.

Minnikhanov briefly presented the industrial and investment potential of the republic, its main economic projects and invited Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi to visit Tatarstan.

In his turn, emir of Ras Al Khaimah told Tatarstan President about the main areas of the development of the emirate and new promising projects.

Minnikhanov was also told about tourism potential of the emirate, its hotel facilities, the Al Marjan Island, one of the largest tourist centres, and other sites of the tourism infrastructure.

During his visit to the RAKEZ free economic zone, Minnikhanov was told about tax and customs preferences available for the RAKEZ’s residents.

Tatarstan President offered the emirate colleagues to exchange their experience in the development and activities of special economic zones.
