A new industrial park "Nizhnekamsk" will be constructed in Tatarstan by the end of this year. Today, the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev and the Director General of the Mono-City Development Fund Ilya Krivogov visited the construction site to inspect the progress of work and hold a retreat. The total area of the park at the first stage of construction is 20 hectares (the successful development of production facilities provides for the second phase of the industrial park construction, which is already expected by two resident companies with promising projects approved by the Investment Council under the head of the Nizhnekamsk Municipal District), the investment of potential resident companies is expected to be over 2.4 billion Dollars with creation of at least 500 jobs. Farid Abdulganiev noted that creation of favorable conditions for investment and development of infrastructure in mono-cities is the basis for economic diversification, development of entrepreneurship and growth of value added.
