Changes in procurement procedure were discussed today at the Ministry of Economy
The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan held a seminar - a meeting “State and Prospects for Development of the Unified Information System (EIS) zakupki.gov.ru by transition of all methods of purchasing into electronic forms from January 1, 2019”. The event was held with participation of the Deputy Head of the Federal Treasury, Anna Katamadze.
The Minister of Economy Farid Abdulganiev addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. “This year, large-scale changes to federal laws No. 44-FZ and No. 223-FZ came into force, providing for a complete transfer of all competitive procedures into electronic format. A special and significant place in procurement structure is occupied by a single information system, which is the main information and statistical center in procurement of the country. This resource should provide information interconnection of all subjects of contract system”, he noted. According to him, the changes will affect reduction of corruption, increase fairness and quality of procurement procedures and, as a result, the expected efficiency of procurement will increase.
Anna Katamadze spoke about the prospects for development of a unified information system by transition of purchases into electronic form. During the seminar, she also summarized the work of the EIS in 2018 and reported on plans for 2019.
