In the first half of 2019, 13 new business projects for collection and processing of metals were launched

13 licenses for opening a business for the procurement, storage, processing and sale of ferrous and non-ferrous metals were issued by the Ministry of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan in the first half of 2019.

In the first half of 2019, 140 scrap collection businesses were registered.

Metals are accepted and processed in 458 facilities. 133 of the points of scrap collection located in Kazan, in Naberezhnye Chelny there are 71 points, in Almetyevsk and Almetyevsk district are 39 points, in Nizhnekamsk and Nizhnekamsk region there are 26 points. The distribution of their locations is linked to large industrial areas and railway stations.

The Ministry of economy actively supports small and medium-sized businesses in the field of metal processing. For entrepreneurs, experts conduct consultations. In addition, those ,who wish, can go to a remote licensee school.
