Rustam Minnikhanov holds meeting with heads of small oil companies

On January 26, in the city of Almetyevsk (Tatarstan), President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting with heads of small oil companies.

The meeting summed up results of activities of small oil companies of Tatarstan in 2016 and set tasks for 2017. Director General of Tatneft Oil Company Nail Maganov took part in the meeting.

Director General of Neftekonsortsium oil company Fanis Valiev made a report on the results of activities of regional small companies in 2016.

Head of the Volga Region Office of Federal Service for Environmental, Technological, and Nuclear Supervision Boris Petrov delivered a report on meeting industrial and environmental safety requirements by small oil companies. He, in particular, said that by order of Tatarstan President, a rating of small oil companies in terms of their industrial safety activities was made.

According to Petrov, eight companies are in the “red zone”, which means that they are not complying with safety requirements.

Minnikhanov was also reported that in 2016 all the small oil companies fulfilled the task set for the extraction of oil and achieved an increase in oil production as compared to 2015.
