Mrs. Irina Makieva visited the urban-type settlement Kama Polyany within framework of her visit to Tatarstan

On February 8 the urban-type settlement Kama Polyany hosted - Deputy Chairman of Vnesheconombank Mrs. Irina Makieva, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Mr. Ravil Muratov and the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Mrs.Natalia Tarkaeva. During a big meeting with the population they discussed the development prospects of the town, the upcoming projects, which according to the Head of Nizhnekamsk Municipal Area Mr. Aidar Metshin “should become another impulse in the development of the urban environment and economy of Kama Polyany”.

Mrs. Irina Makieva, being a member of the Supervisory Board of the Fund for the development of single-industry towns, told residents about the planned assistance of the state for Kama Polyany. For example, already this year each single-industry town of Russia will be equipped by a new ambulance car, as well as in accordance with the needs of the individual settlements the Russian higher educational institutions will start a target reception of future teachers and doctors - which subsequently will work for the benefit of Kama Polyany.

However, in general they spoke about the industrial sector. Kama Polyany like all single industry towns will be able to take advantage of the unique preferences. During start of a new production the investors can build utilities at the expense of federal and Republican budgets (in the ratio of 95/5). It means that the businessmen will not have to pay for roads, electricity, gas, water, sewage treatment and etc.  At that the maximum amount of the subside depends on the number of jobs, that will become available with the launching of the new enterprise. The more residents of Kama Polyany will be able to get a job, the more funds for engineering infrastructure will be allocated to the investors by the Fund development of single-industry towns. And that's not all. The businessmen, who are opening production in single-industry towns, can count on a loan at a discounted rate - only 5% per annum.

With the opening of the industrial park in the town of Kama Polyany - the businessmen have already come to the village; the industrial site is used now for processing Tatar polymers and production of stretch film, polypropylene yarn, etc. The products are in demand, their sales is made through 13 branches operating throughout the country - from St. Petersburg to Novosibirsk. The company's management plans to expand production by two times, and the new programs will help in doing this.

Another project, still new for Kama Polyany is connected with fish farming - up to 10 thousand tons of rainbow trout per year. This is not an easy matter, a true high-tech production, capable of bringing serious profit and provide stable jobs to the inhabitants of Kama Polyany. Like ideas  LLC Concern Karpov - if everything is realized, the village will begin to produce feed protein for livestock, as well as medicaments – analgin, paracetamol etc.  It is a real import substitution – now the biggest part of pharmaceutics comes to Russia from abroad. In addition, the manufacturers, producing unique additives for asphalt and bitumen made a report on expanding the business presence in the Kamа Polyany.  Such substances, for example, are able to increase the working lifespan of automobile roads by three times.

The work will continue in a continuous mode. The small single-industry town Kam Polyany will become a platform for implementation of the most advanced business-projects and recreational ideas.
