The meeting on the issues related to holding a Foresight-trip in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2017 took place in the Ministry of Economy

In October 2016 the Agency of Strategic Initiatives for promotion of new projects announced a competition for the RF regions for the right of holding Foresight-trips in 2017. During the period from October 10 until November 10, 2016 the Agency collected applications from the regions.

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan prepared a relative application from the region (in total the Agency accepted about 40 applications from the Russia’s regions). A session for protecting the Russia’s regions’ right to hold Foresight-navigation 2017 took place on December 15, 2016 in St. Petersburg on the platform “The Boiling Point”. The Republic of Tatarstan was represented by Deputy Minister of Economy – Mr. Bulat Khaziakhmetov, Head of department for cooperation with industrial partners “University Innopolos” Mr. Maxim Gashkov and Project Manager of “University Innopolos” Mr. Rustam Davletbayev.

According to the competition’s results the right of holding the events of Foresight-navigation in 2017 was awarded to: the Republic of Tatarstan, Yakutia, St. Petersburg, the Tomsk Region, the Kaliningrad Region, the Moscow Region, the Ivanovo Region, the Irkutsk Region and the Tambov Region, the Stavropol and Khabarovsk Krays.

The meeting of the project office for discussing the concept of holding the Foresight-trip in the Republic of Tatarstan in May 2017 was held on February 13, 2017 in the Ministry of Economy. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Minister of Economy – Mr. Bulat Khaziakhmetov.
