24 March 2017, Friday

From February 1, 2017  every citizen of the Russian Federation has the right to receive free of charge a plot of land measuring up to 1 hectare in the Far East. The procedure of granting land plots is defined by the Federal Law of May 1, 2016, No. 119-FZ “On the specificity of providing citizens with land plots, being  in state or municipal ownership and located on the territories of subjects of the Russian Federation, comprised by the Eastern Federal District, and on amendments to some legislative acts of the Russian Federation”.

The law envisages a maximum freedom of self-realization of citizens. A principally new model of granting land plots has been proposed: a citizen may choose himself a land plot and carry out any activity allowed by Russian law.

One can fill in the application for provision of the donated land plot on the Far East via the internet – with the help of the website of the Federal Informational System - the Far East RF, which provides the detailed information on terms of provision of land plots and the list of required documents.

From February 1, 2017 ne can apply for getting a Far Eastern hectare to multi-functional centers which provide state and municipal services (MFC) throughout Russia. MFC specialists can provide advice on this issue and help with filling in the electronic application on the web site of the program using clients' computers. In addition, MFC can receive applications in a hard copy as well.
