Mr. Artem Zdunov made a report on the implementation of the requirements of the development of competition in the Republic of Tatarstan

On April 3-4, 2017 the educational-methodical Center of the FAS Russia in Kazan is hosting a seminar “Practices of implementing Standard the development of competition in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation”, which was organized by the Federal Antimonopoly Service.

The seminar is attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Federal Antimonopoly Service and its territorial bodies, Agency of the strategic initiatives, the Analytical Centre of the Government of the Russian Federation and authorized executive bodies of subjects of the Russian Federation.

The main objective of the workshop is exchanging information and experiences in implementing measures aimed at the development of competition, the development of proposals, focused at identifying main problems when implementing standard definition solutions and further work on its realization in the regions and others.

The Minister of Economy of RT- Mr.Artem Zdunov and Head of Federal Antimonopoly Service of RT - Mr. Alexander Grunichev shared main practices in implementing standards for competition development in the Republic of Tatarstan.

In addition, the Executive Secretary of the Interbranch Council of consumers for issues of natural monopolies activities under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Mr. Timur Khalikov told about problems and challenges of implementing Standard competition development in the Republic of Tatarstan in the part regulating the activities of the subjects of natural monopolies.

In addition, within the framework of this seminar, there was a briefing of Deputy Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FTS of Russia) Mr. Alexey Dotsenko. The main topic for discussion: “The results and basic practices of implementation of a standard the development of competition in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation”.

We remind that activities, aimed at raising the level of competition in the Republic of Tatarstan, included in the adopted road map for promoting competition in the framework of the implementation of the Standard development of competition in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

The standard of competition development is aimed at creating conditions for the development of competition in the markets for goods and services in the region, the transparency of the work of the regional authorities, the provision of incentives to protect small and medium-sized businesses and the elimination of administrative barriers.

According to the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan of May 6, 2014 No. 799-r the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan is the authorized body of the Executive power of the Republic of Tatarstan for promoting competition in the Republic of Tatarstan.
