Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation and Tatarstan agree on cooperation in the field of digital economy development

On June 2, on the sidelines of the 21st St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation signed a cooperation agreement between Tatarstan and Rosatom.

The document envisages the organization of cooperation between Tatarstan and Rosatom State Corporation regarding the implementation of pilot projects in the field of digital economy development in the republic.

Moreover, the parties agreed on formulating and implementing the concept of the "Digital Region" in Tatarstan and introducing decisions of the Russian Federal Nuclear Centre and the All-Russian Research Institute of Experimental Physics at the regional industrial and defense enterprises.
