President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited ZaryaD plant in Naberezhnye Chelny

Yesterday, June 15, The President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with the work of the resident of territories of priority social and economic development (TPSED) in Chelny - the factory for the production of hockey sticks "ZaryaD". The founders of the company, the famous hockey player Danis Zaripov and the general director of the "ZaryaD" Ivan Savin conducted the tour of the plant for the President.

Rustam Minnikhanov personally checked for the elasticity and strength of the sticks, which are manually assembled at the plant of composite materials. He asked what kind of hockey stick has Danis Zaripov himself, the hockey player responded - "Zaripov's stick. I have a specific “hook”, in the KHL no one can play with such an angle of the blade, the bend of which has a depth of 12 mm."

Rustam Minnikhanov expressed the opinion that the inventory can be supplied to the republican children's sports schools. "There is such a goal. We have achieved good quality in production and can provide all sports and hockey schools and all those who wish with hockey sticks. Now negotiations are underway with the Tatarstan Ice Hockey Federation," said Danis Zaripov.

Today, 88 people work at ZaryaD plant. As the leaders of the enterprise told, this number is enough. Moreover, workers can produce much more than is required today.

At the end of the tour, Danis Zaripov presented Rustam Minnikhanov with a stick with an exclusive design - the symbolism of Tatarstan. The plant will apply the exclusive design technique for subsequent orders.

Answering journalists' questions about the expansion of the assortment, the general director of "ZaryaD" Ivan Savin said: "There are such plans, but now we are more focused on sticks, because this is a high-tech product, it requires a lot of attention. As soon as we work out the technology to a level that will satisfy us, then we will immediately proceed to the production of new hockey equipment."

Also worthy of notes that the factory "ZaryaD" released the first batch of hockey sticks in April 2016. The enterprise is a resident of TPSED. The initiative to create "ZaryaD" belongs to the titled hockey player Danis Zaripov. The factory for the production of hockey sticks from high-strength composite materials is the first and only in Russia.
