Midkhat Shagiakhmetov took part in the opening of a universal sports hall in Osinovo
Today the grand opening of the universal sports hall took place in the Osinovo village, Zelenodolskiy region. The President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, opened several sports facilities simultaneously via video link. The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.
The project for the construction of the sports hall was carried out from April to November 2020. The total area of the building is 1,432 square meters and includes a multi-purpose sports hall, which is intended for training sessions and local competitions in basketball, volleyball and mini-football, and a gym.
Midkhat Shagiakhmetov noted that the Government of the republic pays great attention to improving the quality of life of the population and creating comfortable conditions. He expressed confidence that the gym will be in high demand among the villagers.
The Head of the Zelenodolskiy region Mikhail Afanasyev also took part in the opening ceremony. He emphasized that Osinovo needed such a facility and thanked Rustam Minnikhanov, the Republic's leadership for implementation of the program for the construction of sports facilities. He also urged residents to actively engage in sports, lead a healthy lifestyle and achieve high results.
