Midhat Shagiakhmetov noted the positive dynamics in the implementation of infrastructure and investment programs of the Sabinsky district

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan-Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov paid a working visit to Sabinsky district. He familiarized himself with the activities of a number of industrial enterprises and took part in a meeting of the Council of the Sabinsky Municipal District.

As part of the visit, the Minister got acquainted with the work of the woodworking complex of OOO Sabinsky Lespromkhoz, which has been producing wood for more than 10 years. Thanks to good teamwork of about 150 people, the company is developing steadily. The woodworking complex plans to study the sales market more thoroughly and attract new partners.

After that, Midhat Shagiakhmetov learned about products of entrepreneurs who participate in the exhibition. The Minister was presented with textile, plastic products, sporting goods, souvenirs, wood materials, agricultural products, and basic necessities. Midhat Shagiakhmetov highly appreciated the products of Sabinsky district producers and noted their contribution to the development of the region's economy.

Also, Midhat Shagiakhmetov stressed that in the conditions of restrictive measures, the district managed to work dynamically in almost all sectors.

The Minister singled out industrial parks and playgrounds as one of the points of economic growth and investment attractiveness of the district. There are 2 industrial sites – "Woodworking" and "Prominvestechnoholding", and "Saba" industrial park on the territory of the Sabinsky district. According to the results of the 3rd quarter of 2020, there were 19 residents at these three infrastructure facilities, which is 10 units more than the same indicator of the previous year. The district demonstrates positive indicators due to the constant development of existing residents and the effective work of management companies. 

One of the tasks for 2021 is to increase the number of entrepreneurs who receive state support measures, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov noted. Speaking at the meeting, he called for stimulating the growth of the number of SME, as well as the self-employed through existing support measures, and through ensuring broad awareness.
