Single-industry towns – leaders in financial support of AO "Corporation" SME" became 2 Tatarstan cities

Over the past 5 years, the total amount of financing of projects of small and medium-sized businesses in single-industry towns with the support of AO "Corporation "SME" exceeded 63.3 billion rubles. The leading single-industry towns in terms of financial support were Naberezhnye Chelny of the Republic of Tatarstan – 9 billion rubles (328 transactions), and Yelabuga of the Republic of Tatarstan. 

This information was announced on March 4, 2021 during the next all-Russian event organized by AO "Corporation" SME" with the participation of a MONOGOROD.RF, representatives of 63 subjects of the Russian Federation, 321 single-industry towns, offices of plenipotentiary Representatives of the President of the Russian Federation in the federal districts.

During the event, the participants shared their practical experience in obtaining and providing support in the territory of single-industry towns.

The first Deputy head of the Executive Committee of the Nizhnekamsk Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan for Investment, Development of Small and medium-sized businesses and PSEDA, Radmir Belyaev, spoke about the successful experience of working at the local level.

Belyaev noted the following: "The single-industry city of Nizhnekamsk in the Republic of Tatarstan took the first place in the investment climate in 2020. The project portfolio includes 76 projects of small and medium-sized businesses worth 52 billion rubles, involving the creation of 11 thousand jobs. By the end of 2020, support has already been provided for 32 projects worth 5.1 billion rubles, which allowed creating 1.048 jobs. As part of the co-guarantee, AO "Corporation "SME" and the regional guarantee organization provided financial support to a large project of OOO "Microfibre", the guarantee allowed the company to attract a loan to "Gazprombank (AO)" in the amount of 1.9 billion rubles. In the future, we plan to continue close and active cooperation with AO "Corporation" SME".

The meeting also discussed measures to support self-employed citizens in the territory of single-industry towns. It was decided to continue informing entrepreneurs and "self-employed" citizens about the existing support measures, and further support the projects of these business representatives to provide various types of support, including within the framework of a special loan product of AO "MSP Bank" for the self-employed at 7.5% per annum.

In conclusion, the participants of the event noted that they expect entrepreneurs to increase their activity in preparing and sending investment projects to federal development institutions that require support in various areas.
