On October 9, 2016 the Republic of Tatarstan with a working visit was visited by the first deputy chairman of Committee of economic development of the Leningrad region Maxim Kiselnikov, SI "Agency of Economic Development of the Leningrad Region" and representatives of the Tikhvin, Volosovo, Podporozhsky, Slantsevsky, Gatchina, Kirishi municipal districts.
On October 10, 2016 in the Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Tatarstan under the chairmanship of the deputy minister of economy Natalya Tarkayeva the meeting with the above-named delegation where the subject "Main Directions of the State Investment and Innovative Policy of the Republic of Tatarstan" has been discussed has taken place.
Also within the working visit representatives of the government of the Leningrad region plan meetings with Administration of the municipality of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, the large enterprises of the Republic Tatasrtan, the IT park, representatives of the special economic zone of the industrial and production Alabuga type and the Yelabuga polytechnical college.
