Parliamentary hearings: it is necessary to optimize tax and administrative burden on small businesses

Parliamentary hearings, where deputies and representatives of relevant ministries and departments of the republic with active participation of entrepreneurs discussed issues of development of small and medium businesses in Tatarstan, were held at the Small Hall of the State Council today.

The First Deputy Minister of Economy Rustem Sibgatullin presented the main report on the development of small and medium businesses in the Republic of Tatarstan. There are about 170 thousand SMBs in the republic, last year their total annual revenue reached RUR 1.7 trillion.

Projects aimed at improving entrepreneurship infrastructure are one of the important ways of increasing the share of small business in the republic's GDP. The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation develops a project "My business park", its conception was brought to the federal level upon the initiative of the President of Tatarstan. As noted by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the approach, proposed by Tatarstan, deserves multiplication as one of the best practices ensuring provision of the most comfortable conditions for creation and development of new productions in a particular territory.

The Deputy Minister of Economy also said about the comprehensive work on supporting entrepreneurs in entering the external market, getting out small and medium businesses from underground economy, he also added about the necessity to increase the share of SMBs to 40% by optimizing the tax and administrative load on the small business.
