FAS of Russia: The Republic of Tatarstan is in the “White Papers” of pro-competitive regional practices

With the aim of preventing antitrust offense FAS of Russia for the first time presented compiled pro-competitive and anticompetitive regional practices “White and Black Papers” of 2013-2015.

Within the framework of implementation of “Competition Promotion and Antimonopoly Policy Improvement” roadmap approved by the Russian Federation Government Decree # 2579-r of December 28, 2012, FAS of Russia initiated establishment and publication of the best, aimed at competition promotion, and the worst anti-competitive nature practices of passing by the Russian Federation subjects’ state power bodies and local self-government bodies regulations and implementation of pro-competitive and anticompetitive regional practices.

The antimonopoly authorities’ initiative got further development and “White and Black Papers” of pro-competitive and anticompetitive regional practices have been compiled respectively.

Having analyzed three-year period data (2013-2015), it should be noted, that the Republic of Tatarstan has been annually represented in the “White Papers”.

Also the “White Papers” were compiled considering competition policy regional aspects and work provided by the Russian Federation subjects for Competition Development Standard implementation and other good practices as well.
