Experts from 35 countries around the world will discuss innovations in state and municipal governance the city of Kazan

The 25th annual conference of the international organization NISPAcee  (Innovation Governance in the Public Sector) will be held from May 18 to May 20 in the Federal University of Kazan. 

NISPAcee is a network of institutes and schools of public administration in Central and Eastern Europe, including over 150 organizations, a regional center of UNPAN (the European Association for public administration accreditation).  The main mission is – promoting the concept of good governance, through an annual exchange of experiences, training of specialists in the field of state and municipal governance.

The main theme of the NISPAcee conference this year will be new technologies and new approaches to political and governance decisions of governments around the world. The purpose of the NISPAcee events - is exchanging knowledge and skills, combining efforts in finding the optimal solution of actual problems of public administration. Within the framework of the conference it is planned to discuss such issues as the reform of the state, regional and local governance and self governance, interregional cooperation, the implementation of state policy, the introduction of IT-technology in the governance process.

The opening of the conference will be held on May 18 at 9:00 in the Institute of Governance, Economy and Finance (Butlerov Str., Bld. 4). President of the Council of State of the Republic of Tatarstan - Mr. Farid Mukhametshin (confirmed) and Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Mr. Alexei Pesoshin will attend the plenary meeting.

The number of participants of the Conference is more than 150 guests from 35 countries of the world: countries of Central and Eastern Europe, the United States, France and the Republic of South Africa , representatives of the UN, the International Association of schools and institutes of public administration (IASIA), National Centre for civil service Affairs of France (CNFPT), the American society for public administration (ASPA), rectors from more than 10 universities of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
