Ulianovsk will host the conference "Regional Investment and Innovation Policy: from Stagnation to Development. Experience of Ulianovsk Region"

On June 22-23, 2017 Ulianovsk will host a conference in "Regional Investment and Innovation Policy: from Stagnation to Development. Experience of Ulianovsk Region", which will deal with the experience of Ulianovsk region in the innovation development, attracting of investments and creation of an innovative infrastructure.

Within the framework of the conference, a visit to the Zavolzhye industrial zone is planned on the first day: “Ulianovsk Machine-Tool Plant” LLC, “Ulianovsk Center for Technology Transfer” LLC, “Nemak Rus” LLC, “Bridgestone Tire Manufacturing CIS” LLC, “AeroComposit-Ulianovsk” LLC, “Takata Rus” LLC. There will also be a sightseeing tour around the Port Special Economic Zone, a visit to the “Quantorium” children's technopark and the Ulianovsk Aviation College - the Interregional Competence Center.

On the second day of the conference, speeches will be held by representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Higher School of Economics, the leadership of the Ulianovsk Region, the Ministry of Development of Competition and Economics of Ulianovsk Region, the leadership of ANO “Cluster Development Center of Ulianovsk Region”, representatives of other regions.
