The rating of social and economic development of the municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan for January-May 2017 has been prepared

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan has prepared a monthly ranking of social and economic development of municipal districts and urban districts in the Republic of Tatarstan for January-May 2017.

In the total rating for January -May 2017 the leading positions were occupied by Kazan (the 1st place) Almetyevsk (the 2nd place) and Nizhnekamsk (the 3rd place) municipal districts.

In January-May 2017 the largest changes in ranking were made by Baltasinsk (+ 12 positions), Zelenodolsk (+ 10 positions) as well as by Atninsk and Mamadysh (+ 7 positions) municipal areas. These changes are conditioned by the improvement of a number of indicators: Decrease of the level of registered unemployment and increase of gross agricultural product and etc.

The rating's positions occupied by Buinsk and Tetyush (8 positions), Drozhzhanovsk, Alekseevsk and Chistopol (5 positions) municipal regions worsened. The deterioration of these data is conditioned by increase in level of the registered unemployment, decline in capital investment, gross agricultural products and others.

The average volume of goods shipped per capita amounted to 222.26 th. RUB throughout the republic. Among the municipalities of the Republic, the highest results in this indicator belong to Almetyevsk (1303.22 the RUB), Nizhnekamsk (693.22 th. RUB) and Yelabuga (523.49 th. RUB)  municipalities.

As of June 1, 2017 the registered unemployment rate in the Republic amounted to 0.67%. In 24 municipalities this figure is lower than the average Republican value. The lowest unemployment rate is registered in Laishevo (0.19%), Aktanysh (0.28%) and Verkhneuslonsk (0.34%) municipalities. The largest - in Yutazinsk (2.31%), Yelabuga (1.28%) and Bavlinsk (1.17%) municipalities.

0.239 square meters of total housing per capita was commissionedin the period between January and May 2017 the Republic of Tatarstan.  The biggest square of housing per capita was commissioned in Pestrechinsky (2.21 square meters), Laishevo (1.47 sq. meters) and Verhneuslonsk (1.37 sq. meters) municipalities.
