The companies LLC "Chelny Aggregate" and LLC "Kama Crystal Technology" have been awarded the residency status of the Priority Social and Economic Development Area "Naberezhnye Chelny"

The companies  LLC "Chelny Aggregate" and LLC "Kama Crystal Technology" have been introduced by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation into the register of residents of the priority social and economic development territories, established in the territories of the single-industry municipalities of the Russian Federation (single industry cities) and became the 10th and the 11th residents of the Priority Social and Economic Development Area (hereinafter- PSED) "Naberezhnye Chelny" respectively. Pursuant to the Federal Law, a legal person is recognized as a resident of the Priority Social and Economic Development from the date of an entry into the named register.

LLC "Chelny Aggregate" is implementing the investment project "Arrangement of mass production of a wide range of hydraulic instrumentation in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny".

LLC "Kama Crystal Technology" is implementing on the Priority Social and Economic Development Area "Naberezhnye Chelny" the investment project "Production of synthetic sapphire for optic electronics with a mass over 80 kg (2-3 stage)".

For residents of Priority Social and Economic Development Area, there is a lower profit tax rate provided: in the part of revenues to the federal budget, 0 % for the first five tax periods since the first profit from the business; in the part of revenues to the budget of the entities of the Russian Federation, the rate is 5 % for the five tax periods from the date of getting the first profit and 10% for the next five tax periods.

In addition, the following is envisaged for the residents of the Priority Social and Economic Development Area:

- Exemption from payment of tax for the companies' property,

- Exemption from the payment of land tax,

- Reduced  insurance premium payment in amount of 7.6% instead of 30%, paid in a regular order (including the Pension Fund,  - 6% instead of  22%, the Social Insurance Fund - 1.5% instead of  2.9% and the Compulsory Health Insurance Fund - 0.1% instead of 5.1%).

The benefits will be extended for a period of 10 years from the date of receipt of the resident status of Priority Social and Economic Development Area and is applied to residents who have been awarded such status not later than three years after the establishment of the Priority Social and Economic Development Area.
