Zelenodolsk is waiting for a new resident. OZON online store plans to open a logistics center at TASED
Today, the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiyev met with representatives of OZON online store. During the meeting, prospects for building a new logistics center for the company on the territory of the Zelenodolsk industrial site were discussed. The organization was interested in the territory of advanced socio-economic development "Zelenodolsk", since its residents have a number of advantages. Lower rate of income tax, exemption from property tax of organizations and land tax, reduced rates of insurance contributions in the amount of 7.6% are envisaged for them.
Delegates also noted the convenient location of the industrial site, which will successfully develop the logistics center in the Volga region.
During the meeting, delegates studied measures to support investment projects implemented in the republic, the prospects for the company’s interaction with educational institutions in order to prepare specialists for the company’s needs, and the company’s cooperation with the business of Tatarstan.
Today, the OZON delegation visited the Zelenodolsk industrial site, familiarized itself with its infrastructure and the progress of construction work for existing residents. It was noted that OZON is one of the largest Russian e-commerce sites, with more than 1.6 million products in 23 categories. At the end of 2018, the company operated approximately 100 thousand square meters of complete infrastructure, including the flagship complete factory in the Tver region and regional fulfillment and sorting centers.
