The best young entrepreneurs were determined in 8 nominations in Tatarstan
On September 1, the winners of the regional stage of the All-Russian competition “Young Entrepreneur of Russia 2020” were announced in Kazan. The regional stage is supported by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Entrepreneurship Support Fund and the “Entrepreneurship Factory” project.
More than 260 applications for participation in the competition were received from entrepreneurs of Tatarstan aged from 14 to 30 years. Let us recall that the selection of participants was held in 8 nominations: “Internet Entrepreneurship”, “Agricultural Entrepreneurship”, “Franchising”, “Social Entrepreneurship”, “Production”, “Innovative Entrepreneurship”, “Trade” and “Service Industry”.
The winning projects were presented in various sectors of the economy. The largest number of applications came from businesses in the service sector, followed by Internet entrepreneurship and Trade. For example, the winner in the “Innovative Entrepreneurship” nomination was a project to develop laser technologies used in aircraft construction. In the “Internet Entrepreneurship’ category, the project for the sale of trendy clothes with a margin of 100% or more won, and in the “Production” nomination, the first place was taken by the work of a young entrepreneur to create children's educational toys.
The final of the regional stage took place on September 1, 2020 at the House of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Tatarstan. The winners were awarded commemorative diplomas and certificates in denominations of 15, 25 and 50 thousand rubles for business development from the partners of the event.
The best entrepreneurs of the republic will take part in the federal stage and represent Tatarstan at the Russian level. The final of the All-Russian competition “Young Entrepreneur of Russia 2020” will be held in Ufa. Business representatives and experts from all over the country will gather for the award ceremony in the Republic of Bashkortostan.
Let us remind you that the competition “Young Entrepreneur of Russia” has been held for several years throughout the country in two stages - at the regional and federal levels. In 2019, the final of the event and the award ceremony for the best participants took place in Kazan. About 400 entrepreneurs from all over the country came to the capital of Tatarstan. It should be noted that last year, residents of the republic became winners in four nominations at once.
The competition “Young Entrepreneur of Russia” in Tatarstan was held within the framework of the regional project “Popularization of Entrepreneurship”, provided for by the national project “Small and Medium Entrepreneurship and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives”.
